We understand that an opportunity like this may seem too good to be true, but as a Black woman in an industry where women—especially Black women—make up less than 1%, I see it as my responsibility to pay it forward. I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating spaces that weren’t designed for people like me, and I know how powerful access to resources, mentorship, and knowledge can be in breaking down barriers.
That’s why I created Ziphaus Cares—to provide the opportunities I know many people never receive. This isn’t just a workshop; it’s a way for me to equip the next generation of creatives with the tools they need to succeed, regardless of background or circumstance. I believe in sharing access, opening doors, and fostering community for those who need that extra push, because if we don’t create these spaces for each other, who will?
